• Prices are shown in US dollars. For conversion, we recommend using a Currency Converter.
• Any import duties, taxes or brokerage fees due at the time of delivery are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Packing slips for International Shipments cannot be marked as a "gift" or with altered prices.

Charges 

• You are responsible for all back and forth shipping and brokerage charges for returns or exchanges.

• Any items shipped COD or having additional brokerage fees that are charged to 2nd Gear USA upon delivery will be rejected.

Warranty

• We have a 30-day return policy on all items marked NEW, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

  We DO NOT accept returns or warranty any item marked USED, you may not return any gear/item marked USED.

  Returns

  To be eligible for a return, your item must be an item marked NEW on our 2ndgearusa.com website or in our physical store when you purchased it and in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags if included, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

A GEAR HEAD.

Most of our men's jackets run true to size to standard U.S. sizing. If not we typically indicate on the specific product page if it is Asian size etc...   

Use the following formula to measure yourself for Men's Jackets and Vests and order the size accordingly.

First, Measure the circumference of your chest. Our reccomendation is If the measurement is 46, order a size 48. If the measurement is 47, order a size 48.

The general rule when sizing jackets is to order the next even number up from your actual measurement.

Women's Biker Jackets & Vests:

Most our women's jackets run one size smaller than normal U.S. sizing.

For example, if you wear a size medium, order a size large.

First measure around the fullest part of your chest/bust, keeping the tape under your arms. 

Women's Biker Jackets & Vests conversions:

Hats:

Measure your head at the place where your hat headband will rest. Everyone's head-shape is different.

If you fit between two sizing brackets, it is better to go to the lower sizing bracket if your head is narrow shaped and up to the next bracket if you have a rounder shape to your head.
 

Helmets:

Measure your head at the place where the headband will rest. Keep in mind that everyone's head-shape is different. If you happen to fit between two sizing brackets, it is better to go to the lower sizing bracket if you have a narrow head and up to the next bracket if you have a rounder shape to your head.

Chaps:

Thigh measurement is the most important measurement when ordering chaps. Waist's are all adjustable.

Do not concern yourself about the length because Chaps are constructed long and can be cut to fit your length.

Men's Chaps, You need your waist and inseam measurements (in inches). Measure with your pants off.

Women's Chaps, Always order one size larger what you normally wear, for example if you normally wear size 4, get a size 6 and so on.  

Caution: Take measurement's with your pants on unless you are a wild hog and like to ride nakie.

Gloves: To ensure a proper fit: Measure your hand with a tape measure around the knuckles of your hand, Measure your dominant hand - the right if you are right-handed, and the left if you are left-handed. If your size falls between size, order the next larger size.

Sizing Chart For Bike Saddle Bags

Note: Different motorcycle styles require different types of saddle bags, so we do not make a claim that if you measure from A to B, then buy this style or that style.

We will need to approach this based on your motorcycle type: sport bike vs. cruiser vs. standard, exhaust placement, rear shock style, seat style, etc.....

Exmaple below is for Cruisers

If you ride a cruiser, you will have a wide variety of choices, which will most likely make your job of choosing a bag system more confusing.

Start with the measurements to eliminate bags that won’t fit your bike. 

Things to Consider:

• Will you be carrying a passenger?
• Placement of your rear shock.

If you have a passanger, you need to determine how much room they will need for their boot on the rear foot peg.

Your length should be measured from that point to the front of the rear turn indicator light. This will be the maximum length of the bag you choose.

If you have an internal shock system, then you don’t worry about it, however, if you have rear shocks that are exposed, you need to measure from the top of the rear shock to the turn indicator light. Also, you will need to select an angled bag that will leave room for your shocks, it will need to fit behind the shock.

The image in the below illustration shows a bike with no rear seat, take this into consideration, this type of bike has a removeable rear seat, if you are buying bags to use with or without passanger and rear seat it will make a difference.

If you are using a rear seat  to check for the bag’s height, measure from the top of the rear seat, down to 2" above the exhaust pipes. This will be the maximum height of the bags you choose. Note:  Even though we reccomend 2" make sure you allow at a minimum a 1" space between bag and exhaust pipe.

If classic style throw over saddle bags simply won’t work for you, then check to see what kind of mounting hardware your motorcycle already has.

Most cruisers are manufactured with a designated place to easily mount brackets. Consider quick release, or quick removal mounting systems. This type of system consists of a couple of mounting bolts on your motorcycle, and a set of bags with a hard exterior, and mounting holes that fit on the mounting bolts.

They are quick to remove when you get to the end of your ride, and most systems have a convenient lock system to keep your gear safe & secure from theft.

We reccomend using a quick release mounting system if you want to keep your bike lookiing lean and mean, you can leave the bags at home and you still retain the sporty look of your motorcycle; no bulky, unsightly brackets.
